"After years of playing different reeds I've finally come across the one that does everything for me! Fiberreed. I've gone from cane to plastic to just about every other reed you can think of. I have to say the Harrys Fiberreed gives me MORE longevity than ANY other reed I've played and still delivers a response that I've gotten from my favorite cane reeds that most of the time only last me 5 days! I have to say I can tell a lot of time and effort has gone into this reed to deliver what I think is the best quality reed you can buy. I never have to worry about it warping. I get the exact same sound every time I put one on which means less time fumbling around finding a reed that responds the way I want and more time practicing. Thank you Harry for your dedication to exceptional craftsmanship! (Keith prefers Natural Fiberreed on tenor and soprano)

Bill Saxton
"The buzz I get from the Fibereed has a pure woodwind sound: the highs, lows and beyond are great.
With constant use of the Fibereed, I find that the sound remains
consistent. Thanks to Fibereed my search for the right reed is over."

Bobby Watson
"Since trying the Fiberreed at the suggestion of my good friend Bill Saxton, I have been blown away with the construction, feeling, and response of the reed. It is the closest thing to wood I have ever played! I have been telling all of my saxophone colleagues about the amazing breakthrough Harry has made. If you want to try a synthetic reed with a natural feel that lasts, look no further."

"The Fiberreed has proved immensely helpful to me - since I began to use it about a year ago I have noticed some improvement in sound and range. Recently I made a very successful recording with it. I highly recommend its use."

Jacob Yoffee
"From the moment I tried Harry Hartmann's Fiberreeds I've been able to get a strong, consistent sound across the entire horn - with real core, even in the higher range. In addition I've found that the reeds remain strong for longer periods than traditional cane reeds and each reed I've tried seems to be usable - no "duds". If you're searching for a reed that can provide you with a strong, full sound across the entire instrument you've got to try the new Fiberreeds."
(Jacob is playing Carbon Fiberreed in H on tenor).

Craig Handy
"Harry Hartmann’s Fiberreed is the most interesting new development in woodwind reed technology to come along in years".
"The Fiberreed will save you hours of time looking for the wood du jour".
"You have saved me a lot of time looking for wood so far. And also I notice that the Alto reed in particular is giving me a really clear tone, like a bell. Ringing. It's really cool."
Craig is playing Natural and Carbon Fiberreed in MH on Alto.

Dirko Juchem
"Especially because I need to constantly alternate between saxophones, flutes, and clarinets during concerts and in the recording studio, I am happy that there finally exists a reed that I can rely on 100% in all situations for response and sound."

Thank you Harry!"

Adam Pieronczyk

David Liebman
"Choosing between synthetic and cane reeds is like the choice between liking an orange better than an apple – they both are fine for the occasion, but different. If for reasons of convenience or taste, you want to play synthetic reeds, Harry Hartmann's new designed Fiberreed are really an improvement and quite satisfactory.
The reeds are pretty consistently good. For me - the best on soprano is Carbon Fiberreed medium soft and for tenor Carbon Fiberreed medium.
Thanks Harry"

Michael Marcus
"I find that the Fiberreed works extremely well for producing an even singing tone, in all registers, for the Bb clarinet on my Chedeville style mouthpiece. I would recommend it to all clarinetists who are tired of "fishing" for that perfect reed when buying a box of ten reeds (and maybe finding one good working reed). I look forward to perform and record with the Fiberreed!

"Hallo Dr. h.c. Hartmann! (Dieser Titel wird Ihnen bestimmt einmal verliehen werden.) Habe von Macandella inzwischen 4 Carbon Toptone erhalten. Zusammen mit meinem Dukoff P/ paßt die Stärke "S" perfekt! Expressivität ist total angesagt. Meines erachtens sind die Carbon Toptone die beste Erfindung seit es Saxophone gibt! Absolut fantastisch! Herzlichen Dank und nochmals vielen Dank!"

Leroy Harper
Leroy Harper is the alto saxophone player of the James Brown Band.
