Hi, I have played other synthetic reeds and I like some real well but after I tried the carbon fiber reed that\'s all I use now I love it although when I first started using the carbon fiber reed it has a slight texture to it and my lip would bleed after awhile but not anymore. GREAT REEDS*** JOEL
